Tinner's Rabbit
The name of this dance refers to the three hares symbol which is common in the west country. It was written by Grimspound Border from Devon but it is now quite widely danced. We tend to do this an audience participation dance rather than part of our performance repertoire.

Order - Chorus, No. 1 Hey, Chorus, Star, Chorus, No. 2 Hey,
of Dance Chorus, Tinner's, Chorus, No. 3 Hey, Chorus
Chorus - No. 1 clashes forehand with No. 2 who then clashes forehand with No. 3. This continues for 12 clashes in total. All dancers then do 3 clashes on the floor.
No.1 Hey - No 1 dances between the other two, turns right and dances round them in a figure of 8.
Star - 1-8: All dancers hold their sticks vertically in the middle of the set and dance round clockwise
1-8: All dancers swap sticks to their left hand and
dance round anti-clockwise
No.2 Hey - No 2 dances between the other two, turns right and dances round them in a figure of 8.
Tinner's - 1-8: All dancers hold their sticks horizontally in a triangular arrangement in the middle of the set and dance round clockwise
1-8: All dancers swap sticks to their left hand and dance round anti-clockwise
No.3 Hey - No 3 dances between the other two, turns right and dances round them in a figure of 8.
